Terms and Conditions
These terms govern your use of teamstrata.app, our subdomains, and the STRATA Operator Updates SMS messaging program.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By visiting teamstrata.app, creating an account, booking a call, submitting a form, or opting in to SMS messages from STRATA, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. Description of Services
STRATA provides software platforms, operational tooling, and intelligence systems for business operators. Through teamstrata.app, you may:
- View information about STRATA and our work portfolio.
- Submit contact, concierge, or partnership inquiries.
- Subscribe to email updates.
- Schedule a call with the STRATA team via our scheduling provider (Cal.com).
- Sign in to a project workspace (if you are an active client).
- Opt in to receive SMS notifications about your project or relevant operations.
3. STRATA Operator Updates — SMS Program

STRATA Operator Updates.
Program description
An opt-in SMS program for clients, contractors, and authorized contacts of STRATA. Messages include: project status notifications, deployment and release alerts, infrastructure or incident updates, scheduled-call reminders, account verification codes, and replies to your direct inquiries. SMS is used for transactional and service communication. We do not send promotional or marketing SMS.
How to opt in
End users may opt in to STRATA Operator Updates in any of the following ways:
- Visit teamstrata.app/sms-signup (or a substantially similar form on a STRATA project page), enter your mobile phone number, and check the box that reads: “I agree to receive recurring text messages from STRATA at the number provided. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.” Submitting the form completes the opt-in.
- Text the word START or JOIN to (412) 207-7723 from the mobile number you wish to enroll.
- During onboarding for an active client engagement, by checking an opt-in box on a signed onboarding form that contains the same disclosure language as above.
Opt-in is express, opt-in records (timestamp, method, IP address where applicable, and the disclosure shown) are retained, and consent is never a condition of any purchase or service.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies based on activity in your account or project. Most opted-in users receive fewer than four (4) messages per month. During active deployments or incidents, message volume may be higher for short periods.
Message and data rates
Message and data rates may apply. Charges are determined by your mobile carrier; STRATA is not responsible for charges from your carrier. Contact your carrier for details on your messaging plan.
How to get help
For help with the SMS program, reply HELP to any message from us. We will respond with our contact information and instructions on how to use the service. You can also email info@teamstrata.app.
How to cancel
You can cancel the SMS service at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you reply STOP, we will send a one-time confirmation that you have been unsubscribed. After the confirmation message you will not receive additional messages from this program. To rejoin, sign up again as described above or text START to the program number.
Supported carriers
The program is compatible with major U.S. wireless carriers, including AT&T, T-Mobile (including Sprint), Verizon Wireless, U.S. Cellular, and most regional carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Eligibility
You must be 18 years of age or older and the account holder or authorized user of the mobile phone number you enroll. By opting in, you represent that you meet these requirements.
Privacy
Mobile phone numbers and consent records collected for this program are used solely to deliver the messages described above and are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
4. Accounts and Authentication
Some features require an account. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and notify us promptly of any unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose or to violate any applicable law.
- Attempt to access another user’s account, project workspace, or any non-public area of the service.
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the service without prior authorization.
- Interfere with the integrity or performance of the service.
- Use the service to transmit malware, spam, or unsolicited commercial messages.
6. Intellectual Property
The STRATA name, logo, site content, and software are the property of STRATA or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written permission.
7. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, STRATA disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that messages will be delivered, that the service will be uninterrupted, or that it will be error-free.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, STRATA, its officers, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of the service or the SMS program.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance. For material changes affecting the SMS program, we will notify opted-in users by SMS and provide an opportunity to opt out before the changes take effect.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, unless an applicable consumer-protection law requires otherwise.
